Make every minute count ...
That's what I do as a journalist, make every minute count, with more than 30 years' experience in regional, national, international
newspapers, magazines and online sites.
I take my work seriously, but don't take myself too seriously.
After many years being happily shackled to a desk at the Kent Messenger Group and Daily Telegraph
my sense of humour has stayed intact but I have left others to run the tough production shifts while
I write travel and cruise features mainly with a focus on arts, gardens, history, architecture, music and wildlife.
I'm a regular contributor to titles at Real Response Media Group including World of Cruising magazine, Cruise Ports & Destinations and Cruise Trade News (former editor) plus I've edited the 2016 River Guide, Luxury Guide and Destination Guide 2017. I'm the cruise specialist writer for Woman & Home magazine as well as writing for What's On magazine, kentonline, D-luxe magazine, LARKlife and LARKmusic.
I write guest blogs and features for Saga, Scenic, Princess (Journey) and Fred. Olsen cruise lines.
Marking the 100th anniversary of World War I 1914-1918 I have filed more than 80 features, including several new stories which featured in Saga Magazine, Daily Express and the Sunday Mirror.

Details on museums, memorials and cemeteries are clearly products of exhaustive research combined with a flair for moving writing.
